I bought a boat with this Johnson Venom 225 powerhead knowing it had a bad cylinder. Found a guy who had a rebuilt 225 powerhead ready to go. He didn't need this core. All I know is this motor most likely lost a keeper in one hole (piston and head were beat up). I kept it as a parts motor but it's been a few years and I'm tired of walking around it in the garage. Selling as-is.

The boat came out of South Dakota -- walleye fisherman. I was able to exchange a few emails with the previous owner (he traded it in on a new boat) and he said it had never been in salt. He also said they were trolling/idling in MN when it happened.
