Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).
This Supervisor Field Operions role is loced the Quad Cities CEC loced in Cordova, IL.
Primary Purpose of Position
This individual is responsible for directly supervising licensed and non-licensed operors, including bargaining unit licensed and non-licensed operors, in the field. This includes enforcing expections and standards and providing direction and leadership in the field, directing and assisting operors in the performance of their shift routines, monitoring and coaching operors on their performance, conducting plant walkdowns to identify deficiencies, and review operor rounds
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Be accountable for the development, performance and actions of direct reports including training, rewards and discipline, and radiion dose.
- Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
- Directly supervise licensed and non-licensed operors in the field.
- Provide direction and leadership to licensed and non-licensed operors in the field by assigning work, enforcing expections, and maintaining standards.
- Direct and assist operors in performing shift routines and regularly monitor and coach their performance.
- Review non-licensed operor rounds each shift.
- Conduct plant walk-downs to identify deficiencies and initie corrective action in the areas of ALARA, radiion protection, safety, merial condition, and procedural adherence.
- Oversee activities of the extra operor workforce on-shift by assigning approprie tasks and activities during periods when coverage is not required.
Minimum Qualificions
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of reled experience OR
- Associe's degree and 6 years of reled experience OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of reled experience
- 6 years of training and experience applicable to power generion operions through participion in the Nuclear Navy program
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualificions
- Previous nuclear power plant experience
- Supervisory or managerial reled experience
