The vast majority are inexpensive ($3-$6); some are moderate in price ($8-12); and a few are priced according to their "collectability" (i.e. they're highly sought and demand exceeds numbers of copies in circulation)
$20 cash minimum purchase, please.
I play-test each album before pricing it and I’ll give you a complete report about each album’s audial condition.
The sample images shown here are stock photos, but I'll provide a detailed verbal description of the jacket condition of my particular copy.
On-site browsing is not possible, and I don’t ship.
Please send a list of the types of albums you’re SERIOUSLY INTERESTED in acquiring (not merely curious about). Provide as much specificity as you can with regard to your preferences.
For example, designate: specific composers, or specific works by those composers, or specific performers/conductors. Alternative types of information that indicate your interests might be: specific cultural periods or nationalities, specific musical formats (i.e., single instruments [i.e. piano, violin, cello, flute, etc], chamber ensembles, orchestral, vocal [i.e. songs/lieder, opera, cantata, etc].
Keep in mind that in many instances I have large quantities of works by the most famous composers, to say nothing of musical formats or cultural periods or nationalities—so any information that narrows the focus would be welcome.
New to classical music, and don’t know where to begin? For a $5 fee to be added to your total purchase price, I’ll curate a list for you based on what you briefly report about your general listening tastes, the instruments you most enjoy hearing, and the moods you want the music to reflect or evoke.
Please put your list in the body of your email—NOT as an attachment. If I’ve not sold to you before keep your list to a manageable length until we see whether we’re on the same page price-wise. If so, we can always go on from there.
For albums priced $3-8 I’m also willing to TRADE 1 vinyl record for 2 of your unwanted CDs of ANY TYPE OF MUSIC as long as they’re in immaculate condition and appeal to my taste (which is unusually broad).
