POSITION SUMMARY

Develops and oversees Celebrions activities planning and coordining opportunities for residents th promote a level of health, wellbeing, engagement and growth for Assisted Living.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Plans, schedules and conducts lifestyle programs th provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents, including Life Skills and a variety of dementia approprie activities.
• Plans approprie programs for holidays and special events.
• Recruits and develops additional resources for services to the residents. Inities correspondence including public relions communicions with outside organizions, service groups and volunteers.
• Advises and motives residents regarding approprie individual and group activities based on resident interests and opportunities for growth.
• Prepares and organizes a calendar of events. Submits the calendar to the Executive Director for final approval. Posts and distributes the calendar.
• Assures new residents are acclimed and family communicions are timely.
• Prepares and Manages to Celebrions Opering Budget.
• Addresses resident groups and other groups on subjects of common interest.
• Maintains a dabase and prepares reports on resident quality assurance assessments, participion and sisfaction.
• May supervise additional Celebrions staff in the assisted living community.
• Participes in community in-services.
• Demonstres competence in Federal, Ste and Local regulions assisted living as applicable; ensures compliance.
• Develops, facilites and analyzes resident surveys to determine ongoing activities are in place th meet the resident interests.
• Plans, coordines and facilites approprie mixed group activities.
• Develops and facilites daily displays of activities on bulletin boards and/or kiosks in lobbies, elevors, dining rooms and other resident and team member communicion centers.
• Maintains a robust public relions program in support of the activities programming and community relions.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises employees in the Celebrions Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizion's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educional Requirements and Experience:

• Associe degree in Recreion, Educion, Gerontology, Social Work, Adult Educion or reled preferred.
• Three to five years reled experience.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY

• Works primarily indoors in a clime controlled setting
• Possible exposure to chemicals as identified in the MSDS Manual

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this Job, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team Member is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance. The Team Member must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60-70 pounds. Must be able to conduct full exercise program th consists of low impact aerobics in and outside the wer. These exercises include bending, twisting, repetitive movement of arms, legs and torso, which significantly increase heart re and test endurance. Must be able to be on his/her feet 2-6 hours a day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
