I have about 6 farm cats that need to find a good home. They run the full gamet of feral. Two like to be picked up and petted. Two or three more like to be petted, but aren't comfortable being picked up. The remainder are only comfortable with no human contact. These cats are a mix of female and male. Four are these are litter mates that are about 10 months old. I do have one older prolific female (mom to the four) that is incredibly smart. She hunts and has learned how to open our screen door to our house! We de-worm the cats on a regular basis but otherwise they have not been to a vet. These cats reside in an unheated barn with a hay mow even through the coldest of days. I would suggest adapting more than one as they pile to keep each other warm. The cats are accustom to routine dry cat food and table scraps. I can deliver within a reasonable distance from Princeton, Iowa. The reason for re-homing is to diversify our cat gene pool. These cats are free but must go to a new owner that will care for them.
